WIF is witnessing an unprecedented pace of church loan applications. In six of the last seven months, we’ve received all time monthly high in new loan applications. February set an all-time high. March broke February. April broke March. May broke April. And, July, which is normally a down month, nearly broke May’s all-time record.
According to the Federal Reserve of St. Louis, church related construction has increased 3X since January 2022. We’re certainly seeing this across the US and across all size churches. Recently, we received an application for $40,000 for a roof replacement of a rural church in the Midwest. In the same month, we received a $50MM application for a multi-campus church in Florida experiencing significant growth and opportunity to reach south Florida with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
