About Wesleyan Investment Foundation

Wesleyan Investment Foundation serves ministries through strategic, faith-based financing. Since 1946, we’ve partnered with churches across the U.S. to help them grow, build, and thrive. Our primary purpose and operations are providing loan assistance to churches and church-related entities so they can expand their facilities, purchase land, build, renovate, or refinance current debt.

Open Positions

The Corporate Paralegal is responsible for providing comprehensive legal and administrative support to the General Counsel and the organization’s legal functions. This individual plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s day-to-day legal needs, including securities compliance, facilitating real estate and lending transactions, and helping ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal law.

Work Experience Requirement

  • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in securities, real estate, and/or lending transactions.
  • Strong understanding of securities regulations or real estate and lending practices.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and office technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with securities filings and real estate closings.
  • Familiarity with title insurance, tax bills, and loan documents.
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Paralegal/Legal Studies or a related field.

The Investor Service Representative performs the daily investor-service activities that support the company’s mission, investor trust, and operational excellence. In collaboration with the Investment Team and supporting departments, this role helps onboard new investors, serve existing investors, administer funds-transfer requests, maintain account records, and respond to investor inquiries with accuracy, care, and professionalism.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or 2+ years of customer service, relationship management, administrative, or financial services experience.
  • Strong work ethic, efficiency, follow-through, and disciplined work habits.
  • Effective computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word, with willingness to learn additional systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Enjoys serving investors and communicating with professionalism, warmth, and clarity.
  • Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service, listening skills, and phone etiquette.
  • Professional demeanor with a high standard for excellent impressions.
  • Handles confidential information with absolute discretion.
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities accurately and timely.
  • Service-oriented, team-oriented, and collaborative.
